Did You Know That?
I just found out that you can follow whatever website you want on blogger. That's right, it doesn't have to be an actual blog. It might not appear in the dashboard but it still provides updates from that site. Did you know that?
What?
A couple of days ago the unthinkable happened. I got feedback from a company and they actually want an interview with me. WHAT? Yes, they emailed me asking when I was available for an interview. Yay!
Anyway, I will know this Friday if I will finally be employed since my graduation. Although it is not the exact job I've always wanted, it is something to pay the bills with; welcome to adulthood. This part time position at RGIS will allow me to remain in the Raleigh/Cary area although it requires a good amount of travel, I think.
I'm just thankful for this opportunity that God has given me to gain interviewing experience and possibly add a source of income for myself.

Called up from the Minors
I hate when I have three good blogger subjects on my mind and then when I sit down to write about them I completely blank. My sincerest apologies. Anyway, from an earlier blog post I spoke about spraining my ankle. Consequences of this were obviously not being physically active. I was unable to play wiffleball, basketball, go up steps two at a time, etc.... until today. I've been called up from the minors again to play in the major leagues.
I played wiffleball and basketball today, and boy I'm glad I can. I went out to shoot some hoops at Lake Park after playing wiffleball with the guys, and of course two white freshmen asked me if I wanted to play 21; "Sure", I replyed. Five seconds later I was shooting the last shot to win. It happend twice before the kids walked to the other goal to play 1v1 with each other.
Also, something I saw this past week: One of NC State's football players was in a car accident this past week and broke his leg. Its great that he is ok and is not in any critial condition but it is troublesome for the team and the fans to see Nate Irving rehabing again. My prayers go out to him, his family, and the football team.

Cozy Tiger Bed
What do tigers dream of when they take a little tiger snooze? Do they dream of mauling zebras or Halle Berry in her Catwoman suit? Don't you worry you pretty striped head we're are going to get you back to Tyson and your cozy tiger bed. And hen we're gonna to find our best friend Doug and then we're gonna give him a best friend hug. DOUG DOUG OHH DOUG DOUGGY DOUG DOUG! But if he's been murdered by crystal meth tweekers.... then we're $#!+ outta luck. :-(

NBA Chances Growing Slimmer
Last Sunday I was ballin with some friends on campus and through all the times past of not getting hurt I've finally broken that trend. I landed akwardly on my right ankle and heard a loud pop. I'm fairly certain I sprainged it and have been icing and applying pressure on the site for a week now. It has progressed very well so far and I hope to be active sometime next week. I'm sorry fans but it looks like the NBA scouts won't be looking at me for a while.

Whats Better In Climax Than A Little Hail?
Yesterday was my... second, I think, encounter with a hailstorm. There were wind gusts up to 55-60 mph and rain was actually pushed up under our window sills and into our house. Kinda funny actually. I challenged my brother to see who could hold their arm out into the hail the longest, but neither of us tried, but we did almost throw our cat outside to see what would happen.
After the 15 min storm had passed by we soon found out that the biggest tree in our neighbors farm had split in half! It was an amazing sight... to see a tree that had been there for all my childhood and at times to watch the multitudes of birds flock there to now be reduced to a McDonald's sign (cause it looked like a big M). Also, our other neighbor Harold had a tree fall on his shelter beside his log cabin. Boy was he lucky; the tree was propped onto the building and not through it!
Additional fun fact of the day: we were watching Jeopardy and they had a religious category with the last question being "What are Quakers". The producers were probably snickering when they thought of putting that in there... "no one will get this, haha. they're probably extinct by now". False.
