Well, as of yesterday I am no longer being considered as an option for a Mathematician for the NSA. Honestly, I didn't expect much success with this application due to my two and a half minute resume and poor grades. I might have been able to change some minds if I was called in for an interview to explain why my math grades were average. Physics has yet again blocked me from entering into the realm of the workplace.
Although this setback is depressing, I have found some more mathematician positions in other government agencies and am planning to applying to positions within the Dept of Energy, Dept of Treasury, etc. Hopefully they will not be as strict as the National Security Agency was (in all fairness they should be).
All I can keep doing is applying to positions and praying and waiting for God to open a door somewhere. And if it isn't His will for me to work at any of these places then what a trial this will be to get through. At least I'll have the peace and comfort that Jesus gives; I think that is the only thing that could get me through this job hunting period.
