Third post in January... Sweet, ok here it goes. I've been wanting to post a video for no reason, but haven't had any luck. Apparently my camera automatically loads .mov files instead of .wmv which causes problems for windows. I tried hard to download a program to convert the files but all I found were seven day trials. So I apologize for the lack of excitement my page possesses. The eye is all I got, woohoo.
IM Bball is coming up this week, so in preperation for it my team played some pickup on Friday. It went fairly well, considering our starting 5 is out with an ACL tear. Unfortunately I got on a blocking spree and decided to jump and let someone undercut me. Next thing I know I'm horizontal, 6'5'' spread sideways, and CLUNK. Bones on floor, no padding cause I'm skinny. It numbed my right side for a good minute and a half. Its all good though, bone bruise on my hip, bruise on my elbow, and a nice strawberry under my armpit. Fun stuff.
Anyway, today I went to The Summit in Durham to visit some project friends. The message was great, of course who wouldn't like one from J. D. Greear, and I think everyone there has never seen a 6'5'' college kid before. All the girls went home with neck problems because they all kept looking up at me. All they had to do is ask me to squat down. After the service we went to Bojangle's and had a good 2-3 hour loiterfest there. It was great to catch up and just hang out for a little while. Poor Chris got lost and got there right as we were leaving. It's ok though, he offered to arrange the next rendezvous (big word).
I got a free book at church, its entitled "The Treasure Principle" by Randy Alcorn. It looks like a good read, only 90 pages. So far its been about Matthew 13:44, I'll let you look that up.
