For the past week I've been thinking about the same thing. After coming back from Encounter and just chillin with the church, I really can't wait for Christ's return. Our eternal destination will be in the presence of the God who created us and gave us a life-giving spirit. Conferences like Encounter show us what our eternal lives will be like; of course its not a perfect demonstration considering we are not yet perfectly transfigured for God's glory and of that nature, but in any way it shows the joy God's love brings to all of His children. A building full of strangers praising the same name and a sense of connection with all those present; what an insane picture of a miraculous work.
The church, although tainted by human nature, is one of the things I am praising God for this week.
